Songs I’ve Been Intensely Listening to On Repeat (and you should too!)

If you know me you know that I love discovering and rediscovering songs to listen to on repeat. There are a couple that I’ve been really enjoying over the past few weeks so I thought I’d share some of them!

Come On Eileen – Dexy’s Midnight Runners

I decided I wanted to listen to this song all the way through once and for all after watching a TV show called Wakefield. Wakefield features a character who has this song stuck in his head for weeks! The show played snippets of this show so many times that I figured I simply had to give the song justice and give it a proper listen.

This song is an absolute classic and a banger. 10/10 recommend.

Sukiyaki – Kyu Sakamoto

I came across this song in a YouTube Mix playlist and am so glad I did! This is one of those oldies that I’ve heard on the radio many times but would never be able to google it because… well, it isn’t in English and I can’t actually understand any of it.

This song is so soothing and catchy!

Just Lose It – Eminem

Coincidentally, I am in fact listening to this song right now as I type this! This is a song I’ve probably had on my playlist for years. I recall skipping this song time and time again. However, for some unknown reason, current me thinks it really slaps and has been listening to it on repeat for the past few days. Nice.

A bit of a strange one, but it has a very satisfying beat!

Kiss Me Slowly – Parachute

This is another song I’ve had on my playlist for years!

It’s a delightful mixture of calming and upbeat, and it really picks up towards the end.

For the Longest Time – Billy Joel

This is a new addition to my playlist but a song I’ve heard time and time again since I was little. I love the rhythm of the song, constantly rising and falling.

And oldie and a goodie.
